Strata
Just like geological layers of sedimentary rock, Strata builds in stripes of colour and texture.
When it’s between seasons, or when layers are required but you don’t want to restrict movement – pieces like Strata come in handy. Casual and comfortable, and made in a yarn that comes in a wide range of beautiful colourways – what’s not to love?
This is knit seamlessly in the round, so once you’re done knitting, you’re done! The striping pattern is easy to learn, and should not present much of a problem to intermediate knitters or beginners who want to hone their skills.
The yarn used in the original sample, Lion Brand Tweed Stripes, has since been discontinued, and the recommended yarn is now James C. Brett Marble Chunky.
